In the Spring I took my son Lionel to Tregaron for the Rivers Festival, a combined annual event organised by the Welsh and English teams. This resulted in Lionel being invited to to the Captains Weekend on the river Wharfe in Yorkshire. On the 25th and the 26th, I got together with my fishing friends from the England Youth Team for the captains day. We fished almost all day on the 25th, fishing the duo and the trio methods which were extremely successful. With plenty of fish coming up for the Klink, as well as the Nymphs a little later on in the day. Plenty of fish were caught, up to and including the 2lb mark! Fantastic fishing....
